Cheap (/free) flights on BMI (DUB-LHR)

    BMI have been running a promotion on their Flight and Hotel packages offering £100 off the total cost of a flight and hotel package.

    They fly from Dublin to London Heathrow a few times a day and they have a good range of hotels in London. This range includes hostels which, when combined with the flight, often bring the total package cost to under £100 (which means a completely free package) or just over £100 (flight and hostel for <£10).

    The hostels aren't great if you're looking for something other than a group holiday, but you can still use the free flights and just not show up at the hostel. They also give £25 off a hotel booking for two nights or more.

    Codes:
    BMIPKG1 for a flight + hotel package
    BMIHTL1 for a hotel

    Expires tomorrrow (althought bookings can be made through to 31/12/2008), book through this link. Also sign up to BMI Diamond Club frequent flyer club and get another free flight from them if you fly before the end of the month (from BMI website).

    Any details on the rules, when you can travel, etc, I got an error saying "This purchase does not meet the minimum stay restrictions of the selected voucher. For more information, please refer to the voucher rules." Tried for one night.

    There should be Terms and Conditions along the left side of the booking window - three night minimum stay for the flight and hotel package (although flights can be booked for longer period), two night minimum for the hotel only discount.

    FYI: Just the tried the flights + hotel voucher code, and it has expired already (despite T & Cs claims that the code can be used until 16th March inclusive).

    The hotel code just worked for me a few minutes ago (Up until the credit card details page anyway), but the package code does seem to have expired early. The site can be very buggy at times.
