    Myself and Daire Nolan of VIP poker are running this event up in Roundwood. In previous years it has been a 5card draw tournament but with numbers dwindling they have decided to go with Texas Hold’em this year. Here are the details.

    1. The Tournament Organiser:
    Donkey Poker Tour & VIP Poker

    2. Purpose:
    This is a charity event

    3. Date & Location of Event:
    Friday 21st March 2008
    Aras An Tochar, Roundwood Gaa Club, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow

    4. Registration & Start Time:
    Registration from 7:00pm,
    Start 8:00sharp
    Note: Early bird chip for registration before 7:45.

    5. Any prerequisites:
    None

    6. Maximum Number of Players:
    80 Players

    7. Type of Tournament:
    No Limit Texas Hold’em Single Rebuy

    8. Entry Fee:
    50euro

    9. Registration Fee:
    0

    10. % of Entry Fee’s going into Prize Pool:
    30euro of the entry goes to the prize pool, 20euro goes to St. Vincent’s Cancer Research.

    11. Guaranteed prize pool:
    €1200

    12. Rebuys & Top Up’s:
    1 rebuy or top up.
    Cost: €30 (20euro to prize pool, 10euro to charity)

    13. Starting Stack:
    Players will start with 5,000 in Tournament Chips

    14. Rebuy & Top Up Amounts:
    Rebuy: 5,000
    Top Up: 5,000

    13 – 3000 – 6000 – 20min
    14 – 4000 – 8000 – 20min
    15 – 5000 – 10000 – 20min
    16 – 6000 – 12000 – 20min

    *1: At the end of this level the clock will be paused while the 100’s are chipped up

    *4: At the end of this level the clock will be paused while the 5000’s are chipped up.

    17. Paid Places:
    Approximately 10-15% of Starting Field.
    Various Spot Prizes on the Night

    18. Dealers:
    This tournament will be self deal until the final 2 tables
