    Hi,

Okay, had a few winners over the past few days and found myself in PCWorld asking about the DV10's that they used to sell and if they had any. The guy said no that he never heard of it (well most people work in these stores now don't know this from that).

Then he said that they did have an Optoma projector though that also has a built in DVD and speakers just like the DV10 I was describing. Ah, I said "you must have the DV11's in now?" He said "No Sir the DVD100".

So here I am standing beside what looks like a jet black DVD11 - slot in DVD etc. Some specs were slightly better too I thought and so I forked out 800 spondolicks for it and off home I went and within five minutes of getting it out of the box I had a 100 inch crystal clear picture on my off white living room wall from around 10 feet (that's the length of the room or I'd have gone further.

So what is this model - the DVD100? Is it a rebadged DV11? Are they the same specs? There is little or no info on the web and when I did find mention of it there was always the word 'project' after it.

The Optoma website doesn't have it listed for support either.

    Strange.

    Nico
