ThunderBird upgrade - no spellcheck

    Having upgraded to Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 I am now without my spellcheck. I have tried Tools > Options > Composition > and find that the 'Language' is empty, and without a choice.
    I have gone to the site again, followed the instructions, and ..... no corecyingd to mi speling mistacs.
    Any suggestions will be attempted.

    ....... but the problem persisted.

    Magic !!!

    My spellcheck has returned. Don't ask me how.

    PFM for those in the business. The first letter is for PURE. The last one is for MAGIC.

    Work it out.

    Thanks to anyone who thought they may have had a solution.
