new discharger

    got tis today along with other stuff,i started to discharge my battery and its still going from about 4:30..is this normal.

    Yeah, it's fine. Dischargers normally take slower than your charger depending on what rate it discharger at.

    True, it depends on the load it puts across the battery. My Pro Peak charger is marked as having a discharger. It wasn't until I went to use it and it took 2 days to discharge that I realised it was a very low current load. The one I built does it in about 4 hours.

    cheers but actually when i signed out it was done..about 1 and a half hours to discharge.Its a guarder 1a discharger.

    If it's a 1A discharger then it's fairly easy to calculate how long it'll take to discharge. 2000mAh (2Ah) batteries will drain in about 2H 15M, 3500mAh (3.5Ah) batteries will be empty in about 3H 45M, and so on.
    Basically with that unit it'll take up to an hour an amp +/- 15 minutes (depending on battery condition) to dishcharge.
