Application Form

Just wondering if anyone here has any idea of what I should do in this regard on an application form for a summer internship in a large firm. Generally I have attached my CV with an Academic reference and one from a previously employer (a solicitor I did previous work experience with). I have also for different sorts of employment attached the chaplain from my secondary school, whom I knew very well.

On the application form for this particular company's internship it gives space for an "Academic Reference" and a "Character Reference". The academic reference is a given. I was just wondering if anyone would have some advice as to whether I should list the previous solicitor employer or my school chaplain as a "Character Reference". The obvious one in regard to personal character would be the chaplain but I do not really know what they are looking for.

    Any ideas???

Hope this isn't construed as seeking legal advice :p

Either sounds fine; I would go with the solicitor / former employer personally. Good luck with the apps!
