    Howdy

I was given an E Machines M5116 recently...in perfect condition apart from the battery that is dead.

Anyone here know where one might find a replacement that isn't silly money...looking on Ebay and they are £100+ which is just not worth it.

    All help gratefully recieved !

I think that's about the best you will get. I find that with hard to get laptops, you pay through the nose for parts such as batteries. Have you checked the stickies?

    Thanks for the response

Checked through the stickies as my first port of call but can't find anything under around 100 sterling..and it's just not worth it for a lappie I was given for free.
If anyone has a broken emachines with a good battery I'll pay fair money :)

Looks like I'll just have to keep next to a mains outlet !

Try adverts and see if you can get your hands on a second hand one.
