Vat Question Installing Washing Machine

    Hi guys,
Im a bit confused about this,
if I install a washing machine for someone, I do up an invoice with materials and labour. I only charge 13.5% on the labour, total that, and add to whatever Ive bought the washing machine for.
    Heres my question.
Ive already been charged the VAT on the machine and have the receipt. Therefore the customer should be paying that VAT. So I put through my receipts to the accountant and he takes the VAT from the machine and refunds it to me. So thus it would be wrong for me on the invoice to add the cost of the machine(vat included) to the cost of the labour, and charge 13.5% on the whole thing.
    Am I right?
