Im looking to put a bipod onto my vsr-10, do I need one of these things to attach it http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=18240 or will it just go onto the swivel sling attachment?

It will attach to the sling swivel no probs but it wont be as strong as if you used the attached.

Ah rite I see, would dere be much of a difference like, the stock swivel would put up witha bit of rough and tumble I assume?

Id say it would be fine but it will be very front haevy.
