Best darts board and cabinets?

Hi all

I want ta get my BF a nice darts board and cabinet for his Bday...we both like darts and the cabinet will be in the kitchen so it'll have to look nice(Pine if i wanted ta be fussy...!!) can anyone recommend one?
I've heard him say before that the Winmau boards are the best but i was thinkin on a Unicorn Eclipse Pro?any diff?
He plays darts a lot as well so nothing beginner or sneaky!!
And are there any backboards for inevitable wall hits and bounce-backs?!! (thats me when angry or intoxicated or both!!)

dont get a unicorn eclipse board - they wear away much to easily

id recommend the winmau blade 3 - its probably the best board around

argos have some nice cabinets and also mullins at the corner of mary street have some nice cabinets

u can get rubber surrounds to protect your walls bit you cant use these with cabinets

Thanks guys. think i'll get the blade III and check out mary street...saw the ones in argos(cabinets)and i wasnt really that impressed...

cant wait to brush up on my darts skills agai...(Oops....didn't i say it was for OH's Bday...!!!sauce for the gander...:rolleyes:)

if you want to reduce bounce outs your better off with the eclipse,which imo is streets ahead of a blade III.bounce out city with one of them.
if the board is turned regularly it'll last no problem.avoid the eclipse pro and get the normal eclipse if you can.

i do believe that the eclipse is beter than the eclipse pro but i still think the blade 3 is the best
