Howdy, does anyone know any good websites to get legit helmets for the cheaper than normal price?????

Personally i would not trust some of the helmets on ebay, as you never know if they have been dropped with force on the ground, so if you know of any other websites post them here please........;)

I'll be in the market soon for a new lid too. So wouldn't mind seeing this as well.

Then maybe add it to the 'Motorbike Resources' sticky.

    Got mine here too.

You will need to go to a shop to try them on to get the correct fit - different helmet brands fit slightly differently, if you want to save some cash try on the model that you're interested in and then order from the guys online or take a spin to newry and pick one up.

Buy a new one on eBay - there are lots of legitimate sellers on there (have a search for a seller called tokyotrader who sells new Arai and Shoei at very good prices)
In Ireland, Cotters is the best spot for bargain prices - stock not always great though.

or if you understand German these guys are good - www.louis.de

If you can hold off for the race meets or shows coming up, old stock is often sold off at stalls and deals found twards the end of these events. I got my Arai in the RDS at 100 Stirling off. The advantage of buying at shows etc is that you try it on and arent stuck and the hassle of looking for an exchange with it if it is not the right size.

Arai give a warning on their website about buying on line ie sizes and standards vary from country to country. http://www.araihelmet-europe.com/php/language.php
