Zip/Postal Code Problem in Paypay?!! HELP!!

    Hi guys,

    Ok im having a problem paying for an item on egay. Basically i get to the check out page on egay and it asks me to put in my zip code?Of course i know that we dont use zip/postal codes in Ireland.

    I've been buying off ebay for many years worldwide and have never has this problem because i usally put the words NONE or enter my first four digits on my home phone number like 0405 and that has always worked for me......... well until now!


    I urgently need to pay for this item! Any help would be great!!

    Thats odd 0000 always worked for me in the past. Silly question, but is the country set correctly? What site are you on? .ie, .com etc?

    Discussed previously here. Don't know if there's any way around this, try paying through eBay.ie or .co.uk if it lets you.

    Ok i read that other thread. I tried ebay.ie .co.uk and i went on to the paypal site and tried it there with no luck. I also tried to use the send money function also with no luck!


    This is the message i got on the paypal site after trying to send money -

    This transaction failed because we were unable to verify this credit card through our card validation process. In order to proceed with your transaction, please select a different funding method or add a different credit card.



    I've a verified paypal address (which is the closest you'll get to confirmed address outside the sates) WTF??!!!


    I really need to pay for this item!!! Anyone have any ideas?!! Please!

    Just enter NA for ZIP code, it has worked for me Today
