What strings???

    i have a jacksn DXMG floyd rose and the rest, bit of a metal guitar and I want to tune it to to D standard tuning ( DGCFAd). What gauge strings should I use?? I use d'addario .009s already. any idea??? If you have any info please help

    10's or 11's would be fine. 10's might be a little bit floppy. All depends what you like yourself

    I've found 11s in DGCFAD to be close tension-wise to 9s in standard tuning, so if thats what your used to I'd say it's a good place to start

    My best guess is 11s. If you go any heavier or lighter you may have to adjust the tension on the springs.
