    What do you recommend for great weekend in london (Friday-Sun/April) that covers tourist and night life?

    Tourist: As you don't have that much time I would do London eye, river cruise(get boat from near London eye) to Tower bridge, can ger off and see Tower of London and Tour bus will cover most areas. If weather is good I would go take a walk through Kensington Gardens.

    Nightlife: What part of London are you staying in.

    Did exactly that this time last year. Get one of the tour bus tickets, they show you alot and are really flexible. We stayed in Covent Garden Travelodge. Cheap and in the centre of everything plenty of shops, restaurants and nightlife. Eat in Chinatown for some great chinese food and atmosphere. I also recommend Madamme Tusaudes(sp?) (pay the extra few £ in the dungeon for the live "show" its worth it:D)
