What a truly marvellous animal, one of the toughest characters this game has seen. Hard as nails and deserves to join the list of all time greats as a 3 time festival winner. One of my all time favs, and most certainly my favourite non Irish trained horse.

    PS couldn't resist the 6/4 :)

Tough as teak but also very classy horse. The best staying hurdler I have seen.He deserves his retirement if they do decide not to run him again.Seems the right thing to do so he can bow out at the top.

Agreed. Had him backed in a hefty single and a double with Master Minded. Was a bag of nerves from at least an hour before the off. Looked like he wouldnt get a run boxed in on the rail and then looked like the knock with the runner-up would cost him but was still always confident that if he jumped the last within a length of the leader he would stay all day up that hill. True Cheltnham legend - hope they retire him now as I can't se him doing it four times at ten years old (plus I don't want to be tempted into doing him ante-post)

I got 13/8 in the ring 10 minutes pre race - did anyone top that?
All I could see was 11/8 elsewhere.
