    Hi all!

I recieved an invitation today asking me to attend for an interview regarding my application to study law in TCD as a mature student.

I was wondering is there somebody out there who has been in my shoes and can tell me what to expect and the acceptance rate post interview stage?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

I'd like to know how you got to interview stage, specifically what sort of work experience and further study have you done to get to that point?

    Hi,

To answer your question I have had some experience in property law but not to a large extent.

I am currently in my second year of a part-time degree where law is a subject studied.

Are you at a similar stage, or are interview invitations difficult to attain?

I haven't done any interviews to be accepted to a university place but I just finished a load of graduate recruitment ones and have been reading alot about interviews.

I'd say if you have some experience of law use it, don't exageragte what you do know, but show what you've learned. Tell them why you have found law to be interesting and show that you have the potiential to do well studying law in Trinity.

If you have any queries don't be afraid to ask them what will be covered in the interview and how many people will interview you. It's in their interest that you're well prepared, it means they get to learn more about you.

    Best of luck
