Is two weeks enough time to visit Thailand?...Better to wait and go for longer time?

I reckon you have loads of time in 2 weeks, just try on focus on 2 places tops maybe like the Islands in the South (Samui, Tao, Phan Ngan) and Bangkok or maybe the Islands and Chiang Mai where you can do some trekking, ride a few elephants, rafting etc...

Bangkok is an experience but i loved the place, nowhere else like it and is certainly worth a few days exploring

Lots of options but id definetly say you have enough time in 2 weeks once you dont try packing everything in, try and plan it a little before you leave - there are lts of budget arlines that will save time by flying from one place to the next
Airasia is in my opinion the best option

2 weeks is lots once you don't visit too many places. TBH I would stay in BKK for a few nights, then get a flight / train (depending on budget) to Ko Phi Phi, a proper paradise, its a great spot for relaxing with good food and diving too. Much better that the islands on the other side (although not if you want to take in a full moon party!).

2 weeks if you wanna relax on the beach and have a few nights is ok.

But if you want to see a lot of Thailand then no, 2 weeks isn't enough.

Islands for partying would be Koh Samui/Koh Phangnan and for chilling, diving and taking in breathtaking sights, Koh Phi Phi. To get to the latter, you can fly from Bangkok to Krabi with Airasia.com and then get a boat out. Think it's about 3 hours. There's no airport on the island.

And I'd advise against going "riding a few elephants" unless you want to see feck all while partaking in animal cruelty.

I'll never understand why some people do it.
