Jaysus you really had to avoid the maniacs in that one.
Was completely card dead and playing tighter than a nuns, well you know yourself.
Picked QQ in mid position at 150/300 and made it 950 to go after 2 limpers
flop J86 rainbow and Uruguayan player (latin america pokerstars cup winner apparently) makes it 1k to go I push over the top for an extra 6.5k and he SNAP calls with A8o, turn A river A good night good luck.

Well done to all who got tix, my run at fame and fortune shall have to wait

There were 6 tickets and 7th. 8th. & 9th. split the 3,150 balance between them.
    Tickets went to,
    Ivan Donaghy,Ronan Ryan,John Hannify, John(shaky)Farley,Sylvester Geoghegan,and ME!!!!
Ran really good until last 3 tables, bluffed a wsop bracelet winner off a big pot etc. and then was card-dead for about 4 levels.Survived a few hits, won a few races, and sucked out once on final table to finally get over my bubble hoo-doo.
Good Luck to all who got tickets,
    See you in City West,
    Martin & Colette.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys.

JP should of had my stack when I pushed with A5 he had AJ
but the board counterfeited his kicker!
Very unlucky JP on your exit hand it was such a horrible beat.

I was happy with my play overall especially at my opening table
where i managed to build a strong stack without showing too many hands.

I was very happy for Martin as I know he has had some bad luck in these things too.

Good luck to all in the main event .
I am down to play on thursay but am trying to get it changed to Friday.

    Cya at the tables!
