A monster weekend ahead this week with 3 shows on offer from the Acii camp. Kicking things off in Traffic on Saturday night, with an appearance from one of Irelands rising talents - Darren Rice. Taking time out from his national radio show “The Saturday Selection” it will be his second appearance at Acii Disco. Having played at nights all over the country and boasting appearances at festivals such as Godskitchen, Global Gathering, Hi-Fi & Planet Love he is certainly no stranger to rocking the crowds! Support on the night comes from Jay Grogan and it’s sure to be another winning formula! Doors at the usual time of 11 bells.

Sunday is the big one, the one we have all been waiting for and one of the biggest days out in Dublins Clubbing calendar – Mixed Salad St Patrick’s Weekend Special! Some say its where dreams are made others see it as Dublin’s answer to DC10, its most defiantly Dublin’s most credible daytime event that boasts 2 floors of music over 3 rooms and a beer garden to boot! Unity among Dublin’s most talented DJs and Live acts ensures a truly memorable day of dancing and fun times! Doors open 1pm. Early arrival is advised as the last two years running the party has been a complete sell out by 6pm.

Finally, to round things off in fine style, Acii Disco have decided now would be the Percfect time to host the first of many events in the increasingly popular Voodoo Lounge. Not being the types to do things by half we have booked two of the most respected names on the underground scene PERC (perctrax/kompakt,drumcode) and Irelands own CORRUGATED TUNNEL (seedyr) with support from Acii Disco resident Jonathan Woods is sure to be a great night of fresh new music that is sure to keep the party rolling all the way into the early hours of Monday morning! Doors for this one open at 10.30 with a discount for anyone sporting a Mixed Salad wrist band!

We have more guestlist available for this weeks Acii Disco in Traffic, so to come along FREE of charge simply mail acdisco@gmail.com with your name!

    PERC BIOG -
2007 is proving to be the busiest year in Perc's career. So far this year he has released 'Up', his monster collaboration with Fractal on Kompakt, signed an EP to Adam Beyer's Drumcode label, remixed Trentemoller, Elite Force and Jeff Bennett, released his own 'Skid Grease EP' on Perc Trax and received a license request for legendary DJ Francois K. This is on top of his ever increasing DJ schedule that regularly takes him around the UK and Europe and as far away as the Japan and South Africa.

Here's how Ali got to this point…. First signed by James Holden in late 2001, Ali Wells has since served up a unique fusion of house and techno that has seen him trample across genre barriers to take his sound around the world. Opening up his discography with the relentless bass assault of debut single 'I Make Nuclear' Ali has not looked back, releasing and remixing at a steady pace without ever sacrificing quality in order to be prolific. Taking in 80's industrial, 90's hardcore and more up to date jackin' house and techno Ali mixes up these inspirations without ever displaying his inspirations too blatantly. Releasing on a host of labels as well as his own Perc Trax imprint, singles such as 'Splashy', 'Ice Cream For Kenton' and the Nathan Fake remixed 'Closer' have picked up a wide range of compilation requests including Slam, James Zabiela, Francois Kervorkian, D. Ramirez, Chris Liebing and Ibiza superclub Space plus consistent radio play. Every original Perc release to date has featured on at least on compilation and recent support is better than ever coming from Laurent Garnier, Erol Alkan, Misc, John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Claude Vonstroke, Remute, Chris Liebing, Jeff Bennett, Cass, Chloe and many others.

An in-demand remixer Ali has turned in innovative re-rubs of everything from tearing European techno to serene Japanese J-pop. His most notorious remixes include his driving take on Holden's own 'First Light' and his reworking of DJ Hell's 'Buttersaure' that had the cream of Europe's techno scene salivating. The end of 2006 saw Ali complete a run of gigs including debut gigs in Germany, Scotland, a sell-out Perc Trax tour of Japan and countless gigs across the UK. As a DJ Ali has a reputation of kick-starting dancefloors, building up tension with his unique take on house and techno
