Still nothing official from Fox, but I think its promising...
During his visit to Israel, Prison Break star Wentworth Miller told reporters there that the 4th season of the show is on and they will start filming at the end of this month.

Fox will air the new season this September once the Olympic Games are over with.

Miller said in the upcoming season Michael will go after Sara's killers, and will try to bring the group behinde the whole thing to light.

    That's kind of disappointing.
Not disappointing that there's going to be a fourth season but that they are just splitting season three into two rather than properly finishing season three (which has only had thirteen eps remember).
It's not really a fourth season when you think about it.

You cannot blame them for the short season. Should they do the rest of what was supposed to be done and then leave it till September 2009 for season 4?

    Correct

It's like the people moaning about 24 not starting up again straight away, just not practical with the tv schedules

i hope they give us a good 20+ episodes instead of 13.

    that’s what I love about 24.
    24 episodes per season.

that’s what a season on fox is, but I noticed the bigger the show gets the less the episodes, that happened with x-files, they were consistant with 24episodes the first couple season, but as soon as they get bik they tend on shortening seasons??

It was only 13 because of the writers strike, they did'nt want to just end it for a few mths mid-season so gave a conclusion in the 13th episode, instead of having a 6 month gap between 13 and 14. I taught that was common knowledge?

From memory, that was due to David Duchnovy demanding less episodes or he was going to quit.
