Thinking of buying a 02 or 03 BMW 318 Coupe. Can anybody see the asking prices dropping after July with the new VRT system as the price of a new 320 coupe will drop by about 6k?

Not really, at 5-6 years old. It will affect the value of used cars, but not at that age. IMO, at least.:)
