Could it be a year since Ireland made the headlines in the Cricket World Cup?

BBC NI go back down memory lane! :D
Season Ticket looks back at Ireland's Cricket World Cup

Tonight (12 March) Season Ticket on BBC One Northern Ireland looks back at Ireland's remarkable achievements at the Cricket World Cup last year in the West Indies.

Reporter Austin O'Callaghan was there for BBC Northern Ireland and he relives the thrilling journey of the team that included a farmer, an electrician and a salesman.

Ireland went to the tournament as no-hopers and returned as heroes after beating one of the favourites, Pakistan.

The tournament was overshadowed by the death of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer after the match.

Using behind-the-scenes footage Season Ticket tells the story of how this impacted on the Ireland team as well as the contrasting celebrations within the squad following their on-field achievements.

Season Ticket, Wednesday 12 March, 10.45pm, BBC One Northern Ireland

Yeah, looking forward to watching this alright.

Out of interest, does anyone know of any other documentaries that have been made about the WC?

    From Cricket Ireland's website..
    Breaking Boundaries.
Setanta Ireland will broadcast a one-hour screening of it at 9.00pm on Sunday 16 March, one year after the Irish team’s historic victory over Pakistan.
