    Read the charter.
The forum is for discussion about laws, etc. not for advice. For advice: contact a solicitor.

Are you a solicitor perchance? Or perhaps on a retainer for passing them business?

What harm is there for giving advice pro bono on here? I would assume that there are solicitors registered as members.

Your case will be thrown out of court as he couldn't be botthered to turn up. The only exception is if he advised the court at the last minute that he couldn't for operational reasons.

    Its rather simple.

    1) Your posting looking for legal advise in a legal discussion forum,
    2) This forum clearly indicates what is and what is not permitted,
    3) Boards has a Feedback Forum for posts like these,
    4) If Boards started to allow people give legal advise and people went up in court and used this legal advise - it may be completely wrong and you could risk yourself and Boards in dangerous waters.

Its a forum for DISCUSSION and not for ADVISE.

I do believe you were asked not to give legal advise? You will earn yourself a ban for ignoring the forum charter, again.
