    so for a person who doesn't know one thing about Australian rules football, can you explain!?:D surely it can't be better than rugby or athletics!?

    So after much PM'ing and the month long recruitment campaign we have the first member of the AFL Wimmins Club. Welcome!

    It's far better than both athletics and rugby. It's most similar to gaelic football with small elements of rugby. The players are fit as f*ck so no doubt you'll like that.

    Time to swap your Leinster jersey for an Eagles one.

    Im going to have to pull you up on the "its better than rugby" comment :p

    I enjoy looking at the footy.

    It is rather similar to the GAA football, hence why its possible to scout players from the GAA to play in the AFL, albeit very few.

    Scary looking? Ha he's the biggest AFL pin up boy over here. Anyhoo.....

    They do come in long sleeve alright but only nancy boys wear them (except the legend that was James Hird).
