    Have you ever pawned anything... in a pawn shop?

    If you have, what was it and how much did they give you for it?
    Did you go back for it?

    Ever bought anything or been to a pawn shop?

    :pac::pac:

    Does eBay count as a pawn shop?

    There's a Cash Converters on Thomas street across from where I go to college. I've bought a few dvds and games. Nothing too spectacular. They do have some pretty interesting items in the window though.

    Jaysis, I'd love to take a wander into one of them someday.

    I'm in Galway and I don't think there are many of them here, if any at all...

    Most stuff in pawn shop's are there because the "owner" is broke and needs cash fast. Apparently guitars are very popular with pawn brokers because they don't lose value.

    I've never used an actual pawn shop but have off loaded a fair few cd's in the likes of Freebird, haven't done it in years though.

    Not this again! You lost that ring! You gave it to me. Then I gave it back. Now it's gone. How can that be my fault?

    I pawned a partial chess set once in the mistaken belief that Irony would become flesh and make me its avatar on Earth. All I got was stupid £1.45.
