    Hello,

We are in the middle of our house build at the mo - although only up to first floor but thinking about kitchen design and we can't decide what to do, kitchen, it turns out, is smaller than we thought it would be i.e. its a kitchen living area with kitchen space just over 4 metres x 3 metres so our big plans are now limited. :(

Are you thinking a painted kitchen, timber or something more alternative? Any good bespoke kitchen manufacturers you can recommend? Just wondering what everyone else is thinking.

Also, anyone have any recommendations for interior designers in the Midlands?

    Thanks

If you check out the likes of www.homewise.ie they have loads of trades listed & rated which really does help. Also, check out any up coming home shows in your area a lot of times they have interior designers there.

It sounds like a tricky space

You should get a computer plan done for the kitchen - our guy came in, went through it all with me and got a plan done up in a kitchen suppliers - the finished product looked just as it did in the plan.
I know how hard it can be to imagine this sort of stuff when you're still at the bricklaying stage, that's why a plan is so good. It looks just like a photo. Also, when I stood in our kitchen in the midst of all that grey brick it looked way smaller than it actually is, so don't worry too much.
