    Hi all
I moved back from the USA a couple of years ago. When i did i brought back my Mitsubishi 48" HDTV, it's a WS48311, picture attached. looks exactly like this

It's a Rear projection CRT, native 1080i resolution. of course it's a NTSC tv, so the tuners won't work here.

I had it working with my sky box by feeding it through my htpc which was doing pal/ntsc conversion for me. It will also work with those dvd recorders that have selectable pal/ntsc outputs, or a dvd palyer that has selectable output.

It also works with any european HD source, so xbox 360 no problem, ps3 the same. it has no dvi or hdmi in, so you need to connect with component, but as long as the signal is 480p or greater it'll work fine. (it doesn't take 720p, so you need to feed it 1080i from the source.

now the tough bit, we bought it back to use while our house was being built. I have my home cinema room in my house now, and this has been sitting in a room unused. it's too big for a spare room. it'd be perfect for someone who wanted a nice big tv for use as a games display.

i have no idea who'd use it or how to get rid of it. It's in PWO, so i'm reluctant to just dump it. I'm willing to give it away if someone would collect it.

    anyone have any ideas?

You could try putting it on www.adverts.ie, there's sections for selling electronics, and a free stuff section too, I'm sure you'd find someone happy to take it off your hands.

yeah, use adverts a lot, but i have an american denon receiver up for sale over there and it's getting no hits. so it looks like the 110v thing is putting people off. Was more wondering if anyone had an idea that wouldn't occur to me. say someone moving to the states or something, or knew someone who didn't mind 110V electronics..
