Backing band needed

    Hows it going, just recently recorded an EP thats in pre-release and gigged extensively around Ireland in the past 2 years. Looking to form a full-time backing band with plenty of ambition and gigs in the line up..

    Basically seeking a drummer, lead guitarist, keyboards/synths, female vocals, bass/double bass, violin/cello. that type of thing.

    very laid back and influences include jeff buckley, john butler trio, dave matthews etc..

    Based on the southside - templeogue/terenure/rathmines.. would be looking to commit to this as a serious ambition... no timewasters please.

    We're not the re-incarnation of James Brown's backing band but we would be interested in hearing from you. Let me know- bear in mind we're open to anything as long as it sounds good. Heres the ad I have up around the place;

    Wanted: Singer (in Dublin)
    We are a band based in Dublin looking for a singer. Influences include: Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and a bit of dance too! Open minded and looking for people with original ideas.We are in our early to mid-twenties.

    There are 3 of us (bass, guitar n' drums) and we've got some material written and recorded.

    What we'll probably do is have some auditions on the weekend of the 22nd / 23rd of this month. You are welcome to come and play your own material or sing a cover, whichever suits. Male and Female singers are both welcome.

    We are only interested in hearing from people who are willing to put a bit of time and effort into this- we practice about twice a week.
