Which character from a famous Shakespeare play shares his name with a rugby player who held the record for Irish international appearances for 17 years?

Actually, I'm going to rephrase the question. Who was the Irish rugby international who held the record for international caps for Ireland for 17 years and who shares his surname with a Character from a famous play by Shakespeare?
