what compact do you use?

    Im looking for a compact to supplement my 400D ( i know i should save up for better lens's but thats neither here nor there!). something i can carry when on a night out or in my pocket all the time.

    i know sigma have a new compact with a giant slr sized sensor ( but its 600 quid though!).

    what do you use and what are your reasons for using that particular compact?

    I have the TZ3

    10X optical, wide angle lens and good macro

    I can't justify buying a new compact so I just use my Canon Powershot S50, its not great but when I don';t want to carry around a 400D it does the job

    Have the Olympus u790SW just because it's quite indestructible :) and small

    i have an oldish olympus 765 Camedia bridge , its a 10 x optical zoom , and is super , blows my later panasonic /leica lens away for quality --

    I use a Lumix LX2, really nice camera and has a great 16:9 screen too.,

    I really want a Compact to carry around with me for those events and places you cant take you DSLR. Does anyone know a good one that takes compact flash or is it all SD cards?

    yea, id be looking for something to take CF cards also.
