    Hello,

Can anyone out there tell me who owns the copyright on Welles's Chimes at Midnight? Also distributed as Campanadas a medianoche (1965). I believe there was some distribution issues and it's not technically available in the states. I'm having a really hard time finding a company to contact.

I would be really grateful if anyone could help me out. Thanks.

At least two of his films are in dispute (The Other Side of the Wind being the other). Alpine were the production company, it was a one-shot company formed for the production then wound up. The late Harry Saltzman (James Bond) was the producer and his wife Adriana apparrantly holds the ownership. If you want a DVD copy try to find the Studio Canal release.

    Mike.

It's also called Falstaff and is available on DVD under that title.
