Ok guys have a bit of a problem. I have ben travelling for the last 7 months but I have got very low on money. i was supposed to travel around South Merica but I dont have the money to do it anymore.

My flights are booked so that I fly into Santiago but i fly out of Rio. Because I have no money and need to get home I need to find the cheapest way to get from Santiago to Rio so that I can fly home.

Does anyone know any cheap Airline companies that operate in South America or has anyone done this trip before and knows a cheap way to do it.

    Thanks

Try www.voegol.com.br and www.tam.com.br. They are usually the cheapest for that region. You'll probably pay around 200 euro though. LAN Chile and Aerolineas Argentinas would be a little more expensive.

It might be cheaper to book Santiago to Buenos Aires as one flight and then a seperate one from B.A. to Rio.

i booked a flight from santiago to buenos aires, the flight was dirt cheap, around $20... but i had to go through trailfinders, as the cheap airline sites Neamhshuntasach mentioned, don't accept irish credit cards.

trailfinders charged me around 30 or 40 euro, but was still cheap.

i was on a time table, so had to use travel agent here..... but if you've got time, i'd say just go into a travel agent in chile... i doubt there commision would be as much as here.

i got a bus from buenos aires..... would not recomed this though.... 18 hours, and 8 hours.... horrible.
