hey, managed to break a bit of me bridge when changing strings earlier.

Flyod Rose bridge. You knoe the little block that you tighten in to hold in the end of the string? It broke in half earlier. Looked on Thomann for bits but they only sell the whole system costing in or around 200 quid.

Surely I dont have to replace the whole fcukin thing because of that, the tiniest little part of it?!!!

Happen to anyone else? Any ideas?

Disco balls and lighting rigs for your room tbh.

How did you break it? Sounds like over tightening to me or something.

Drop them a wee email and see what they can do for you. See if you can do a bank transfer too - that'll save them the credit card transaction fee.

Yeah muct of been too tight but I think the piece was weak anyhoo cause I didnt tighten it any tighter than I usually would and I've been using Floyd Roses bridges for about 5 year now and its never happened before.

Just got off the blower with my local guitar shop asking if they happened to have any in stock. They said no but could order it in but also would need to see the guitar first to know which type of one to order. The above pictured in thomann looks the same. I'm using a ESP Ltd M-1000 with an origional floyd rose bridge in black. Anyone know if thats the correct piece above?

You can get them in lots of places if the thomann minimum order is a problem. Try ebay, i've seen plenty there as well.
example : 140208753142 that's under a tenner for a pack of six incl postage. Handy to have a few spares anyhow, they're pretty easy to lose.

Personally I wouldn'y bother getting something that small from thomann. Ebay seems like the best option. I'd imagine finding parts for an Ofr should be the easiest to get. If it was a licenced one then they could be any weird size.
