The R357 is an airsoft version of the Colt Python

    Cost:
€40 delivered from Main Irish Airsoft

    Ordering:
I ordered this NBB form Main Irish Airsoft friday 7th of March at around 4:30pm,
received it today, Monday 10th of March. Upon receiving the package i opened it up and
was greeted by a typical ASG box

    Packaging:
Inside you get approximately 200 BB's, decent if slightly brief instructions with no
mention of the hop up switch and finally
(to my surprise) A small can of Gas, not sure if it's Green or not though it does
have a slight smell to it.

    Finish:
This NBB is mostly made of plastic, looks very plasticy from close up and is very light, the trigger and hammer
are metal. The fake wood grip looks nice enough, some seam lines are visible on the
bottom. Unfortunately the cylinder does not revolve nor does it have fake rounds or a cavity to add a realistic look. The R357 uses a clip which is underneath the barrel, it holds 12 rounds which is ok, the clip itself seems a bit weak
i wouldn't imagine it would take a knock too well at all. The gas reservoir is located under the grip and holds
    enough gas for 2-3 clips

    Firing:
The manufacturer claims an FPS rating of 270 using a .2G BB, i would guess mine is firing around 250-260 FPS. The R357 has a simple on or off hop up switch located on the left side by the cylinder the gun hasn't got great range but could be useful in a CQB situation. As this is my first NBB i can't compare it's noise levels but it emits a loud enough crack when fired. Accuracy wise it's not bad at all given the price.

    Conclusion:
For the price the R357 is good value, i bought mine with the intention of having
it as a collection piece and it fulfils that role for me. I wouldn't use this in a skirmish due to the low
mag capacity and it's low effective range.
