Keep an eye out for jobs on www.activelink.ie

On this website, look for the "Community Exchange" section. Then click the link for "job opportunities".

You options are quite limited really, to be honest. The unfortunate thing is that they are compounded by the old catch 22 situation. That is, you need experience to get a job, but, you need a job to get experience.
I'd advise you to try get a job as a relief care worker in a residential home for kids or with people with ID problems. These jobs are in constant supply really, so you should have a good chance. The money won't be amazing though. Try contacting other schemes in your area also, such as youth clubs, addiction services, or hospitals. I'm sure you are aware of the fact that you won't get working with/as a psychologist in any service at this stage of your career. Contactr lecturers. See if they need any research assistants in any of their work. You may get lucky and this may even lead to getting your nameon a publication.

Try enhance your chances by doing some voluntary work also.

The very best of luck, whatever you decide on.

    Mc-panda.

Whereas it is very difficult, it's not impossible. Be prepared to have a lot of doors shut in your face though.

You should try researching jobs in ABA schools for when you finish too. Seemingly, they're viewed in good terms during the selection process for clinical. That is of course not to assume clinical is your ultmate goal. It may well not be. I have no experience in that field myself, but hear of a lot of people with such experience being called up.

I may be wrong. If so, I'm sure someone will point that out.
