clost lid on macbook

    hey guys
    im wondering how to close the lid ofn the macbook without the laptop going to sleep!
    where in settings can i choose this to be the config!

    dude, post under a single username please.....this is not cool





    you close the macbook, then wake it up from sleep by pressing a key on the external keyb or clicking the mouse

    anyway, you can also install this software called insomniaX that lets you close the lid and it will keep the computer awake

    Isn't that a bad idea for extended periods of time? What with heat buildup and all.

    yeah probably is...

    i very rarely use it like that so havent noticed any major problems.
