Our last beginner course was so popular that we had to turn people away due to limits on the number we could have attending. As a result, we have decided to run another one straight after this one finishes it's run tonight.

Our next beginner's course will commence on Monday, March 24th at 6pm, and will run each Monday 6pm-7pm until April 21st. This is a 5 week course designed to give the total beginner to ground fighting an introduction to the fantastic art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Covered will be- The guard, passing the guard, pins from top position, escapes from bottom position, submissions from each position and safe rolling (sparring) for beginners.

The cost of the course is €50 per person and is strictly limited to the first 10 people who sign up and pay a deposit of €20. If you are interested in attending, we reccomend you sign up as soon as possible as the course will fill up fast.

The course will take place at our custom built facility, Unit 6, Glasnevin Business Centre on the Ballyboggan Road. The gym is accessible by rail on the Western Suburban Line, stopping at Broombridge Station (approx 5 mins walk from the gym) and by several bus routes. (see www.dublinbus.ie routemaps)

If you require any further information on the course or the gym, please feel free to contact me on 085-8320174.

If this course does not suit, please note that our other, mixed experience classes are open to membership all year round.

    Regards,

    Barry Oglesby

AGH! My apologies folks, as someone has just rang me inquiring and asking if I was aware that next Monday is Easter Monday! I wasn't so the course date has changed now to Monday, 31st of April. I can't modify the original post but if a friendly mod is reading this they might do it for me? Maybe?

This begins next Monday 31st and is filling up nicely so if you're on the fence about stepping in, now is a good time to confirm your place. I have a limit of how many I will take in.

The course is also open to members of other martial arts who want to supplement their existing training with some ground work.

Can a mod do me a favour and change the date in the title please?
