    Need some help
Below i have an image of what im trying to do
    bullish.gif

Looking to take in a series of points (5000+)
Want to examine a series of 30-40 in succession and determine if they have
fallen above or below their individual trendline indicated by the red line above.
Im looking to do this in excel without actually graphing anything, in other
words i just want to recieve a signal that it has broken above or below this
    trendline.
Even help as to how i would determine the trendline would be a great help
as linear regression is not working as there is too much noise and it doesnt
    use the appropiate lows.
    Thanks for any help
    Mike
