So, i'm getting back into Eve again with a few friends and there are a few things i was wondering (and i cant search the official forums as i'm in work ).

    1. So, currently i'm sitting in a Dominix, in my corp hanger in 0.0 space, and i stoney broke with only 6mill skill points. Its Drone space (i hate drones), and i'm wondering what to do. Is it possible to get my Dominix back to Empire, without actually flying it? Can it be transported by some big ass hauler?

    2. The Myrmadon...is it any good? I'm currently training T2 medium rails, and i just about have T2 drones. But my other skills arent great. What would be a good to get next. My Nos skills are pretty low, so would that be the next step?

    3. Is the Enyo or Ishkur any good for solo mission running? I had an Enyo before (didnt even have T2 rails at the time), and it wasnt bad, but i was never able to take down anything bigger then a cruiser. Do T2 rails make a huge difference?

    4. Whats the deal with Exploring? I know you can find Encounters (small scale fights) and Sites (loot filled pinatas), but are they diecoverable by everyone? I mean, if i find a site, does that mean its been explored, and is worthless to everyone else? Or is it like a deadspace complex, where npc's respawn after a while?

    5. And whats the quickest way to make a quick buck? Not talking huge amounts, just enough to keep me going, and to get some ships/gear for my new friends. I've got a whopping 12mill at the moment, and my ship isnt even insured...ya, i know.

I'm sure i will have more questions later, as i plan to do very little actual work today.

1,Could get it carrier jumped down if you know someone with a carrier
2.Myrm is still nice imho great tank not much in the way of dps but it can out last most bc's you might want to think about trianing t2 medium blasters for the brutix if yoru going for pvp very nice gank ship.
    3.Dont know
4.Dont really know i think the sig stays around even after someone has found it but they dont respawn constantly once they are used they are used
5.0.0 ratting (not in drone region) haveing sex with r0ot.

Corpmate with a carrier can jump it back, or you could just sell it in 0.0 and buy a new one in empire.

Myrm is great but dunno about the t2 rails, most people prefer blasters on it. However t2 large rails are awesome on the megathron for fleet fights, but you would be better working on your armor and gunnery support skills before getting into one. Stick to smaller ships for now.

Enyo is pretty good for ratting dunno about missioning with it. Its a great little ship. T2 of any gun type usually makes a noticible difference over T1, but the gunnery support skills is where the real difference is.

Exploration can be done by anyone, but there are specific skills that make it faster and more likely that you will find anything. Probing skills are a must, Astrology, astrometric triangulation, astrometric pinpointing, there are more but i can't remmeber off top of my head. If you want to take advantage of the good loot in sites you will also need Survey lvl 5, Hacking and Archeaology.

As far as I know a certain area of space will have a set number of plexes which will appear at random around the area after downtime every day. Anyone can scan them out, and after they have been run they will stay there til next downtime. So to get the best plexes you need to start scanning as soon after DT as you can. And no NPCs will respawn once the plex is run.

Get out of the drone regions. Go to Venal or one of the other northern regions and ninja rat a few hundred isk.

I'll chime in on the exploration issue.

There are five types of sites: Unknowns (which are combat plexes), radar (which are hacking sites, you need Hacking 3 to be able to do them properly, they drop some fairly valuable loot), Magnetometric (Achaeology sites, need the archaeology 3 and salvage skills to be able to do them properly, usually drops mediocre loot but sometimes you can get cool faction blueprint copies), Gravimetric sites (hidden asteroid belts for mining, usually much better quality ores than the system security would allow for) and Ladar (which are weird sites that only spawn in certain areas, they let you manufacture boosters).

All sites get more valuable the lower the security, but exploration can be quite time consuming so I would never bother unless I was in 0.0. Exploration is very skill intensive to do well, otherwise it will be incredibly time consuming and very frustrating. As a rule you'll want most of the scanning skills at 3 or 4 and covops frigate at 4 and some specialised equipment.

Unknown combat sites require the least investment of skills.

Ok, didnt realise that this was possible. Some of the guys in the Corp have carriers, so i can ask one of them.

I was thinking of going blasters recently, as most fights i've been in (npc or that time i got podkilled :o) were very close range fights. It would take a bit of time to go from rails to blasters though, wouldnt it? As for the Megathron, I love that ship. Fell in love with it the first time i saw it. I unfortunatly dont have 90 million isk though, plus i wouldnt be able to do it justice.

I was thinking of going back to something small like the Thorax, or get another Enyo, until i can at least use a BS to some effectivness. Could an Enyo take on an npc battleship? Or would its damage output be too low?
    Exploration stuff
Ok, this sounds like a lot of effort, so i think i'll stay away from it for the time being.

They both use the Hybrid gunnery skills, so no, if you can use rails you can use blasters. The only difference would be the T2 specialisation skills.

Disclaimer: I'm am missile whore and may be talking out my ass about guns.

This is true. As long as you have the hybrid skill to 5 you can train either rail or blaster spec, so its easy enough to cross train them.

Thorax is a great cheap cruiser to solo about in, one of my fave "throw away" ships. The Enyo is also awesome but I've only used it in a gang situation so can't comment on its solo pvp effectiveness, however alot of people love to use it for soloing about. An Enyo can take down npc BS spawns but it takes ages, you'd be better off using a battlecruiser until you can afford to splash out on a HAC. HACs are the best for ratting in my opinion, and are amazing for pvp especially the two Galente, if you don't have cruiser level 5 yet put it on your to do list for later. Get your armor/support skills up first.

Ok, so i gave some ratting in my Dominix a go last night, and it wasnt actually too bad. Killed a double Drone Battleship spawn (with 3 frigates) without any bother. Can you tell me if non-drone BS's are any tougher? Cause the corp/alliance has some non-drone area's and i'd like to try ratting there for the bounties.

Also, someone mentioned that you can use tractor beams to pull loot towards you. Are these easily available (i.e. high skil costs)? Cause picking up loot in my fat bastard of a ship is a pain in the hole.

Never ratted in the drone regions so can't say. I really don't see the point in it with all the hauling needed to get some actual isk. Unless its a corp-wide operation with regular logistics.

I think all NPCs have similar hit points, even officer spawns are no more tougher then a regular higher range BS. Which makes me wonder, are there officer spawns in the drone regions? I've heard about faction spawns which I think drop parts for faction combat drones..

The only required skill for a tractor beam is Science 4. If you wanna go all out with the Jew Claw fit a salvager as well, to salvage the wrecks, needs a bit more skill training, details are here: http://www.eve-online.com/itemdatabase/EN/shipequipment/electronicsandsensorupgrades/scanners/dataandcompositionscanners/25861.asp
