    Odd one here for ye!

Just moved to cork thits weekend and looking for a bus route into town. Living up maryborough hill now. There is a bus stop up the hill, the carrigaline bus goes there but it doesnt run too often. Don't actually know where the 7 or 6 busstops are though for heading into town. Any headsup on where to get one would be great thanks lads.

the seven stops by the centra by the school at the bottom of grange hill, the street running beside john o'sullivan's pub, outside kc's in teh village and further up the douglas road. seven is roughly every twenty mins

the six stops by the same stop at centra and also outside dino's further on by the community school. six is theorectically every ten mins mostly.

    check cie webby for timetables

There is supposed to be a new city route beginning shortly (shortly in Ireland could mean next year though) which will go out Rochestown Road, up Clarkes Hill and back in Maryborough Hill to town. This would suit you a lot better than the 6 or 7 but don't hold your breath!

Depends on how far up the Maryborough Hill you are.
If you are as far as Broadale then the 222 bus runs approx every hour ish, anywhere below Lisadell then walk to Douglas Village, 15mins and you have choice of 7 or 6 at Tesco stop. And yes there will be a new bus route soon.

I live up the hill as well, the new Rochestown route started the other day, passed the bus yesterday. Haven't seen a schedule for it yet though.
