    is the gym on capel street closed?
    are there any other gyms in town where you can kick a bag?

    Do you mean like a regular fitness/weigth lifting gym?

    if so theres one on north fredrick st just a few doors up from waltons.
    its a basement gym, used to be called new dimensions a few years ago. they have a small bag room just off the weights area.

    Pinnacle gym have an area dedicated to martial arts, worth checking out if you can work away on the bags there or if its just for classes.

    from what i hear they have bags hanging in the gym anyway
