How do you define "maintained"? Mine (the missus') doesnt see a mechanic anymore than once a year, my van doesnt at all as I do my own maintainance but I keep everything regularly checked on both.

Maintenance would include brining the car to the mechanic for service or other jobs. It would also include getting new tyres or exhaust exhaust fitted. It would not include a valet or a car wash for example.
