I know the wheels came off near the end - but great to see Darren competing for almost the full four days this week... Would love to see him win again - our most naturally talented golfer in my opinion... (save for McIlroy maybe)

Yeah it certainly is. Hope he plays well at Birkdale in July.

Absolutely. Watched a bit of it over the weekend, thanks to the boy waking up at sparrow fart out of birthday excitement, and was delighted to see him leading or in contention for a lot of it. I thought it was over for him on Saturday morning when it seemed he couldn't make a putt from more than 2 feet but the fact he got going again must say a lot for his strength of character.

He actually putted particulalry good on Sunday (save for his disastrous holes after the rain delay) which is a great sign. How many times have we seen Clarke in contention on a Sunday, hit the ball beautifully and make absolutely nothing with the blade? Great to see him roll the ball well when it mattered most - the final day...

Agreed, good to see the big lad back in some sort of form. Was I imagining it or has he put a few pounds back on? Maybe it helps his game...

The chap is a legend and I'm pretty sure we will see a win from him before the season is out.

He most definitely has alright, I would imagine his fitness regime dropped well down the list of priorities when his wife past away etc...

I do remember him saying when he first lost the weight that if it clearly affected his swing he would put it all back on, no hesitation...
