"Lan Card Disconnected"

    Hi,

    Got laptop delivered yesterday. Bought online from PC world.

    Was working fine last night but today, it's saying that the lan card is disconnected.

    Could connect to internet fine last night but not now.

    Is it a case that the card is disconnected or is there any chance that it could be something else?

    Are you running on battery when this happens? Some laptops shut down things like the lan card when on battery to preserve battery life.

    No, it's running off the mains.

    Just got told to press Fn and F10 and it worked.
