I put a few euro on a lay for ireland to win by greater than 10 points against wales. As I understand it this means that I was betting against Ireland winning by more than 10 points. Ireland lost the match, but betfair says I lost those bets. Am I incorrect in my understanding here, or is there a bug with betfair?

    Thanks

You layed on Ireland +10.5 pts?

they lost by 4 so you lost.

    No you didn't.

You layed Ireland to win with a 10.5 points start. They lost by 4 so Ireland + 10.5 won by 6.5 points

    So you lost you bet

ah I see. I was wondering about the discreprency of the odds. Had bet Ireland to win by >12.5 and thought I was covering that. Doh!
    Thanks
