Dell Inspiron 1720, 6 or 9 cell battery ?

Was thinking of getting a Dell Inspiron 1720. Long battery life isn't a must but I would get for a few euro extra as long as it doesn't have any drawbacks. Was wondering if anyone can tell me if the 9 cell battery sticks out too much at back or underneath ? Thanks...

I have a 9 cell battery for inspiron 1501. It does not stick out at all at the back or the bottom. Battery life with my 9 cell is about 2.5 hours while being used in a way that drains the battery failry quickly (playing dvds with brightess set to high etc).

I'd get the 9cell, it's only a few quid extra and it gives around 70% more battery life than the 6cell.

More capacity always. I dont know why people complain about the stick-out either if its there at all: I have a 12-cell and its designed to tilt my laptop by stickout out downward instead of backward: it keeps your keyboard at that comfort angle and lets a lot more air circulate underneath your laptop which equates to much longer life of your components: less deterioration from heat.
