Just a note to all those who tune into the Friday night Eircom League football coverage on RTE Radio 1 on medium wave (567 Khz), that this frequency will close on the above date. You will have to retune to Long Wave (252 Khz) to listen if Radio 1 do their usual thing and have different stuff on the FM band.

Gone. Radio 1 have this frequency now (252Khz). Unless there is coverage on Radio 1 FM, this is where future footie programmes will move to. Or as KdjaCL says above, online coverage is there as well.
