Jailbreaking Questions

    Hey all just a few questions about jailbreaking (if its allowed!?)

    I have a 16gb touch, 1.1.2 OTB but upgraded to 1.1.3 (with aps) and now 1.1.4. I want to jailbreak to get all the good aps but not being overly tech savy I just want to clear up a few questions.

    1. If I jailbreak will my touch lose all the music/videos/settings I currently have on it?
    2. What is the likelyhood of me wreaking the thing!!?
    3. If I do manage to succeed and then I decide to go back to legit software when the SDK comes out will I then lose all music/vids/settings etc again?

    3. Yes cause you'll have to do a full restore (i.e. bring it back to like it was out of the box)

    If you run into any problems a full restore will cleaer them all up. It's definitely worth it.

    Ok great thanks for the info! Do you happen to know the best current way to jailbreak a 1.1.4 from what I can see the Ziphone 2.5 (or something) where you keep clicking jailbreak is the easiest?!! Seems a bit mad to me!

    Edit: 1 other question!!

    Once I jailbreak do I download whatever aps I want and then use the installer app that appears on my screen to do it?

    em i've just got a new replacement today and i haven't jailbroken it yet so i'm not really sure but ZiPhone seems to be the best way for 1.1.4 alright.

    When you jailbreak, installer.app will be added to your desktop and then you download the apps from there.
