keeping your number

    guys, I've just changed jobs and they insisted on giving me a new number, so i could'nt just transfer my old number across. However my former employers a=have since killed the number. Is it possible to get this number back and say assigning it to a ready to go account to keep it? jut incase I ever want to go back to it ??

    vodafone site not being to helpful

    Short answer is no. Once a number is killed there is no way to port it to another network. Either way your ex employer would have to release it first, but since they have killed it your outta luck.
