My god Pat Kenny is a poor interviewer.

Just has his own little predetermined set of questions and sticks 100% to it. No flow to the conversation at all and ends up covering uninteresting stuff that has been covered a million times before.

Did even prod when Holyfield mentioned it was his goal to retire as world champ. What a missed opportunity this interview was:(

Evander is a class act, never a bad word to say about anything, a real ambassador for the sport.

Top paid star of RTE but no one I have ever met (and I do get out of the house!) ever liked him. Not one ever defended him! Great potential guest wasted.

yeah, it was obvious Pat Kenny hasn't the slighest interest in boxing. did any of you see him on BBC talk sport. That was a good interview!

Pat kenny is useless, he asked no interesting questions, interviewed him the same as he would dot out of eastenders!

    haha,
    Dot interviewing Holyfield anyone?

I heard it was a really boring interview and immediatly though Pat stuck to pre set questions and covered the same old. must be hard to sound interested when asked the same questions over and over. Was he on jonathon ross when over here, that would have been good.

Kenny isn't the best of interviewers, but Holy is hardly the most chatty and engaging fella now is he. He's hard work from what I saw. Man he looked ridicuously huge in that suit. The width of the dude....

ah he was good enough on the BBC's sports talk programme. It helps if you have a good interviewer to coax a quiet character like Holyfield.

its hard to be electric when the questions are no different than the 1's you get every day-boring, Kenny is an eejit.

Typical RTE. They just assume that having some famous athlete on will suffice, and the rest of us can't see past it.

As with ye guys I was very disappointed with the interview. Most of the interview focused around Tyson, who by the looks of things Holyfield is sick to the teeth of talking about.Maybe alot of the general public who wouldn't have an interest in boxing found the interview slightly more entertaining i.e the little piece about The Fanman etc.
